philips intimate massager
For Philips’s new product line ‘the intimate massager’ a new part in their website has been opened for the public last thursday. To be able to hookup customers with online places to order these ‘devices’ a list of shops is displayed after people click the buy now button. It is this layer that was my assignment and while this product has been in development for two years offcourse I only had a week (the last one) to get this going ;-).
To generate this functionality I had to use the JQuery library and utilize its ajax capabilities to load some XML. I had to come up with a solution to work around the ‘same origin policy’ that hinders ajax communication, on which I will elaborate in a seperate article soon.
